But btw.....why RTCW ? How about ET-Bots ?
..rtcw is getting older now as we all see...and there are already2 perfect Bots for rtcw now as WolfBot and Ubersoldat..
I think U'd better made bots for new generation of rtcw - ET...its my imho..
Because I enjoy RtCW, I don't want the community to die yet, and because its a lot easier to code for RtCW than ET.

ET is more complex from a gameplay standpoint and from a code standpoint too. I am thinking about porting Fritz over to ET sometime in the future (no promises tho), but it makes sense to get the basic actions, pathfinding and AI of the bot working in a much more simple game like RtCW THEN porting over, should I decide to, than trying to do everything at once in a more complex game.

i.e. once Fritz can do all of the same actions of a human player (give health/ammo, use air/artillery strikes, snipe, panzer, use mg42, pathfind, work as a team, etc), it will be easy to port that over to ET - because then I'll only have to worry about the specific game rules, not whether or not Fritz knows how to give ammo.

Besides - last I checked there were 3 active bot mods for ET, but only 2 for RtCW (of which Fritz is one of them) - remember that Wolfbot is a dead mod.

I don't want RtCW to linger without a strong bot community. Hopefully between UberSoldat and myself, we can bring some strong bot AI to the community and the game, which its needed since day one!
