lol, lol, lol. "Tabernacle" is a religious word. It's the little box where you put the hosts at the church. But the french canadians love to swear with religious words, dunno for what reason. When a french canadian comes to France and tries to swear or curse someone it's always a lot of fun, we die laughing everytime
You may safely replace that word in that context with "fuck"
