I put the question mark in because I did the campaign tests quickly without investigating why they failed and because when a campaign fails there is no information as to why and many possible causes.

Revisiting Base 47, Adlernest, Frostbite, Beach Invasion, and Tundra I got the same results except for Beach invasion (et_beach) which passed (I think previously I might have forgotten to move the map back into etmain prior to the test).

Please note that all my tests are for sv_pure 1 and 0 but only from the start menu (by mouse or console). When I use the console I get the "corrupted campaign" message (vs crashing ET when selecting by mouse). Now I verify my campaign files are syntactically OK by adding oasis to them as the first map and re-trying. I do not use any map or campaign cycle scripts and so have no defined fallback on error.

Now I do note that if I start a valid campaign and without returning to the start menu I open the console and /campaign ... the problem campaigns that they may then work perfectly fine.

Off hand campaign handling must have been one of the less tested parts of Splash Damages' code when they decided to release the game in 2003.
