The guy to ask to is memed, get in touch with him and he'll open you a login shell, ftp and scp, a webspace and mail account and all, he's so much used to it he is able to do all this in 5 minutes

How much did you pay for it ? Is it a rental and if so when does it end ? Can we expect to host your forums some day in the future ?
It's somewhat disappointing...
Would you run 2 forums in parallel perhaps ?

It is possible... but alas no, it's not linking forums together that make the community pretty tight linked... the regulars of Bots United won't probably go and visit your shrikebot forum, and most of the shrikebot regulars won't become Bots United regulars. We all know it.
