**Duplicate bot names -** 09-03-2004

Any ideas of how I can stop the bots having duplicate names, e.g. bot1 comes is created then bot1 is added again the server then changes the name to (1)bot1.

But sometimes the server leaves the second bot as bot1 so I then have 2 bot1's LOL! (I hope you are with me so far

)

When the server adds the same name twice without putting (1) in front all sorts of weirdness starts the server does not respond to client commands for 10-15 seconds and nothing can be done until the bot name is changed.

I have a dual P4 3.2 GHz HT server with 2 GB DDR 3200 so I know it’s not the server resources messing up.

Anyway any ideas anyone or is being worked on in the next release?
