Sorry for a late reply.

As you probably assumed, I had the wrong version of Half-Life all along, I was actually using the "hl.exe" located in my Counter-Strike 1.6 folder. Installing an old version of Half-Life (Sierra) made both dod 1.3b and the Sturmbot 1.1 work splendid!
