and show the output here. Never ever say "the latest", since the official version may be still the same for long time, but there are many betas during short period, so saying "the latest" says me really nothing.
About Your slow motion effect - don't use any booster program. HL1 supports fps_max to 100 (everything above that value will give you side effects).
