If he is using any older version than that statically linked, it may have the influence. He even didn't tell which version (number) he is trying to use...
Try to download the binaries from
here and replace the existing one in Your podbot folder by that one from that link (also use those new cfgs). The binaries I mean podbot_mm_i386.so file in Your (linux) case.
