Well it sort of goes without saying that I went ahead and made up a new thread for that purpose, following that last bit of advice.
I hope any of you who've been following this will find it at least mildly interesting to see what I've done so far. I by no stretch of the imagination tout it to be a professional work, but it should be pretty decent for a rough-draft.
The way is made clear when viewed from above.
