CS only crashes when I try and use cs1.6 with podbot 2.5.
Plus I can't join any teams

Try reinstalling cs 1.6, some things like classmenu doesn't always come up with the Counter-strike.gcf file.
Delete the local files, then got to steamApps/username/counter-strike delete the whole directory then reinstall it again, and reinstall podbot and enjoy playing.
