the last link you post is a correct one. The first (referring to the readme) is out-dated.
There where pretty well documented pages on wiki, probably gone due the shift and never put back in.
the difference with RealBot is that RealBot has an own 'mod' dir. Therefor loading it is a bit different. The directory should be in your CS folder. So you get:
Counter-Strike\RealBot
and NOT:
Counter-Strike\cstrike\realbot
and so forth.
To set up the plugins.ini correctly:
win32 ../realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll RealBot
The .. refer that it is not in the cstrike directory, but in the main counter-strike directory.
