this doesn't seem to be related to the "non-steam CS 1.6".

I'll check it out and see if it's a bot problem.

btw - Valve does not "lose" money, they just make less money. Also there are also many people who already have a valid license of original CS, but they just don't like the DRM facility like Steam (which is just annoying).
