Ok. I need help of installing and setting up CS 1.6, PODBot, and any (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod version that supports CS 1.6.

Now I have Steam installed (thanks to HL2). I need to get CS 1.6 first. Now here's a question. Can I run CS 1.6 WITHOUT Steam? Or do I need Steam?
Another question. What engine does CS 1.6 use? The source engine, or another 1?

And now, for bot support. I want to play with the PODBot because it's the best dang bot I know of for Counter-Strike.

What version do I need? PODBot 2.6? Will I need metamod for this?

And lastly, a working (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod version that supports CS 1.6. According to their site, the BETA version of 5.50.13 will also work for CS 1.6 as well as CS 1.5. Is this true?

It's just... I don't wanna screw up.

I wanna get this installed and setup RIGHT, the FIRST time.
