I was playing that version about 3 weeks ago on Steam (listenserver) and CS1.5 (listen and dedicated version) without any problem.
Write in console

and show us all the contents You can see on Your screen (I would like to know what other mm plugin and which versions of them You are trying to play together with podbot mm). What is the version of metamod You are using? Are You sure it's the latest version? It's windows or linux (maybe AMD64) system?
