Since this topic is a little slow (waiting for HangFire's pics
), I decided to put some pic of my actual desk, where I study, since the pictures I posted before were from the TV room, where there are also the computers...
Overall:
Left (the globe lights up, but I think the light inside is broken):

"Magnet Board" (on the wall in front of the center picture):

Book and stuff shelves (above the magnet board... the white thing in the bottom of it carries 2 fluorescent light bulbs (not actually bulbs, that "bar-shaped" type, which is more common)):
