Wow, that sounds good!

I think it doesn't take more than 3 or 4 details until you're all set and ready to waypoint those fun maps. The good thing about fun maps is that there's not much messing around with nohostage flags, tactical positions etc. The only thing that can get pretty hard is waypointing all those "special elements" like ladders, lifts, buttons etc. in rats maps, so I would save those maps for later if I were you, and start with some simple aim, ka and fy maps... then you'll slowly grow into the trickier stuff. But all in all, it's not that difficult anyway. It's more a question of how much time and diligence you invest.
