Re: Fix the aiming PLEASE. -

Hey, I've been around here a long time. I've bitched about these problems before. I've posted suggestions and offered input many times. I'm pissed that every single update has ignored the existing problems. And I do use the latest WIP.
I've read all the fucking information and I'm telling you guys: after months there hasn't been a single attempt to fix these problems. Not one. And yes, they do get headshots, they don't aim like normal people, and every problem I posted is a very real, very significant flaw in the design of the bot. I am dead serious in telling you that at enormous range I've been sniped by MP5s, Desert Eagles, and other weapons because of the huge flaws in the recoil algorithm. It quite literally 'stops working' after several shots. This is most pronounced when I force a bot to use whatever weapon I give him, such as an M60E4 ('Para'), in which the bot usually misses completely for the first 4 shots and is then stuck, quite obviously from first person view, to aiming a certain amount in the x and y axis from the actual target. If a target is lost then the aiming resets. I've seen a bot shoot 90 rounds into a spot just inches above my head because the recoil algorithm 'sticks' and doesn't move from that position.
It's been open source, and I'm not asking Stefan to do this. I know he's been unable to work on this project for quite some time. I'm saying to all the potential developers that this project has died because they failed to fix the bugs that were so obviously there. They didn't just fail to fix them, they never attempted to, they simply refused to fix them when they were prompted to. They had no initiative and they thought it was out of their personal domain of problems that should probably be fixed.
