If you want to play it online, you'd best find a clan or gaming group to play it with. In my couple-month experience, the public servers are _bad_. Mostly its just a bunch of 10-14 year old boys screaching at the commander on how to play his role, and the alien team isn't much better.

Buts thats probably just me, I've had nothing but terrible experiences with its community.

The bots available for it work and play the game allright, but they're nothing amazing. NS is a difficult game to make AI for, so it surprises me that there is even bots.
