I suppose that's why... not all people guard their codes like a dragon guards its treasure... Look at Whistler: He said somewhere that he might drop YaPB and develop a bot from scratch - in that case, he could be a nice guy and post proven and well-working parts of the YaPB code for other bot coders to learn.
Maybe there are more people who are as committed to free software as he is (did I get it right this time? ) and who'd be glad to share their knowledge - especially when it's about some good piece of code that otherwise would be thrown away never to be seen again.

The only downside I see is that it might make the "work" of people like our ever-popular [3]Colors etc. easier, but I guess this is a decision that's up to the coders who want to share their stuff...

All in all, I think this is a great idea- I'm just not sure where to put it: New section or sticky thread in an existing section... I can't really judge it (that's why I haven't voted yet), but I think a forum section will offer much better usability and make it easier to find what you're looking for - far easier than an endless thread on the thirteenth page of which I might finally find the piece of navigation code I was desperately looking for. So I tend towards "y", but I'm going to wait for some more input from people who actually know what to do with code - unlike me.
