Are you sure? no bots? it should have some.. the betas did...
first, type this in the console: "nav generate" (of course without the quotations)
n' that'll generate the navmesh for the bots. You only need to do this 1 time per each map.
N' then, after that's done, restart the map, n' type this in the console: "bot add" (again w/o quotations) to add a random bot.
To change their skill, type "skill <0-3 I think...>" 3 being the hardest, 0 being too easy.
Heh, sounds like Valve just wants to release as much of HL2 that they can right now on steam in order to capitolize on steam sales so vivendi gets no cash.
