Progress. Stefan hasn't mentioned anything about releasing the next "official" version. but the WIPs work quite well if you want to try out one of those. Stefan did mention release WIP 11 as a standalone package, though. So you may want to just wait for that if you aren't familiar with installing metamod and the like.
