Finally sorted out my MetaMod issues - seems like using the raw cvar_t doesn't work in MetaMod for some reason, but directly querying the engine does.

Sandbot v0.4.2 works in MetaMod for me (I'm using Metamod version 1.21p37).
I tried without MetaMod on ns_machina and the marines used their machine-guns although yeah the range for its use might be...

Maybe give it a go without MetaMod.

On that topic, is anyone any good with MetaMod? Things just keep breaking on me (first cvar changes, now enemies not attacking each other).

Yeah I'll try it out - are you using MetaMod by the way?

And yeah I haven't added support for the British in Day of Defeat yet - should be a quick fix I think so I'll probably do it for the next...

Annoyingly the Titanfall games have no bots, which is odd because Source comes with some decent bot code.

You can run make symbols and you'll get a debug sandbot.so (or at least it still has symbols in it).
But the stack-strace looks like a problem with Steam - when does it happen? It looks like...

Yeah the flag capturing still isn't perfect but I tried to get it to a point where the bots could at least get the enemy flag (actually getting a point is rare I agree but currently bots can't work...

Alright so I've asked elsewhere and got what looks like a very good hint - it looks like SteamCMD (which RoboCop and nubizor are both using I believe) ships with an old version of libstdc++.so.6...
Search took 0.01 seconds.
