It looks like the Counter-Strike bot nav mesh generation code is in https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/tree/master/game_shared/bot (I think) - does that give any hints?

And not yet - I was having some trouble with VirtualBox continually corrupting my VM but not I have it sorted so I should reinstall Steam and try it.

Has anyone used the -ffast-math gcc compilation flag for a bot? Is it safe? I haven't benchmarked but it does seem a bit iffy to use it.

Sandbot doesn't do anything special (that I know of or have seen - it is mostly HPB Bot under the hood) - I assume that the bot used one of the powerups to increase its damage?
