No progress - It appears to be either a core problem with HLDM or the Sevs mod dll, Im not sure which yet. Even with Jk_botti and amxx disabled the problem persists.

One would think through all...

I've not had this problem on non-Teamplay HLDM, however on Teamplay the bots are ignoring what I specified in the jk_bott_mapname.cfg file.

For example I have set Annie and Tex to join deadwood...

Which mod are you running?

The bots work with plain HLDM, Sevs Mod, Opposing Force (DM only), and Ag-mini.

They do not work with CS, XDM, or AG.

Tested this alot, works nicely with all maps.
Keep the bot_skill level down or you'll chase off players.
Remember to give bot(s) time to create their waypoints on maps, they learn routes from live...

i changed teambalance_type to 0, now bots are models I specifed in the jk_botti_map cfg.

i specified in game.cfg:
mp_teamplay "21"
mp_teamlist "team1;hgrunt;gman;robo;scientist;"

and in the map cfg i specified the bots to be Robo, but they join as...

Quite simply, these bots are the best HLDM bots Ive ever used. The random ducking, jumping, and movements, seem more humanlike than all of the other bots ive used.

These bots cannot be ignored...

Good rule of thumb is if no one here answers within a week, no one has the answer. The coders generally dont have the time to answer all the odd problems...

It seems to me that all that is needed is a random crouch command inserted into the code. They already do random...
