Ok, I was told at Shrikebot's main forum that I won't be able to accomplish this task. I guess shrikebot never worked with earlier version of DoD prior to Steam's version.

Well, so far I've figured out that v1.0 of DoD is newer than v3.1. I've been in IT for 12 years and that versioning scheme does not make sense to me. :cursing:

How I started a local server game:

Open Steam
Launch Counter Strike
Select New Game
Select Map with available waypoints
Start Game

A few seconds go by and presto back to Windows.

PODBot worked great with CS 1.5 after I followed the instructions on the link kWo provided. Thanks.

However, I followed the exact same instructions for 1.6 and I completely exits out of the game....

JoeBOT & de_aztec game crash

Hi,

I'm running JoeBOT 1.6.5.3 with CS 1.5. Everytime the map rotation reaches de_aztec, the game just crashes. The rest of the default maps are fine.

The default spectator mode behavior can be changed in the Create a LAN game Advanced menu on page 2. Stupid me! LOL

Thanks for your reply.

I'm familiar with that keybind to change the view ingame. But it does not work when playing with JoeBot. I'm locked spectating my team and only first person view.
