Adding Bots Through Rcon?
 

I am running a dedicated server on my comp and i want to add realbots. ive tried adding through Rcon and through in game, but i cant seem to get it to work. if anybody has any idea how to add bots through remote admin i would appreciate it emensely. I do not get the chance to check the forums often though so i would ask that you either email your responses to Godloki666@cs.com or Instant Message me at Godloki666 through aol instant messenger

The command to add realbots is realbot add.

i know the commands, but it wont let me do them in a dedicated server. i need to know how to do it as a remote admin.

What are you using for remote admin?
I use HLSW & realbot add works. If you enter that command via the HLDS console, it's still realbot add. If you get an error, it's not installed right.

make sure you have rcon_password set in your server.cfg file. you must enter rcon_password in client console, then enter "rcon realbot add" in client console. link above is a menu i made to do just this!

first let the server know you are an admin so type in console: rcon_passord xxxx (the RCON password you filled in when you crated your server)
then rcon realbot add should work

You can use the (mEAn) Bot.Admin manager which is designed to do exactly what you are asking for, and a lot more. Click on the link in my sig to learn more.
