mEAN & adminmod
 

I noticed tonight that when I try the command admin_command admin_timeleft either in the HLDS gui or HLSW, it causes the mean.dll to crash and also just before the crash, it causes HLDS to hang. ANy ideas?

This could be a bug in adminmod. Try the same thing but without mEAn loaded to see if it still crashes. Some commands require a player entity, but there is no player when run from the HLDS console.

I am unable to get adminmod to run, similarly related to timing things. I have amx and a bunch of other mods that run fine, but as soon as I uncomment adminmod in the metamod plugins ini, and restart server, she goes down:

Last line everytime takes it down. I'm gonna try and hunt down the source of the error and I'll let you know, I think it may have something to do with bugblatters map change plugin.

Edit: Upon commenting everyhting out of my adminmod plugin.ini it still crashes with same error, any ideas anyone? Must be something wrong with core adminmod and mean?

Edit#2: The only way i found around this was to disable admin mod, and grab amx plugins that did the equivalent of the admin mod plugins. Not the best solution thats for sure:(

Have you been able to get admin mod working just by itself?

Yes Ive had adminmod,amx mod, and about 10 other mods, like hlguard statsme, chicken, laser, monster, etc all running at once, but as soon as i switched control from metamod, to mean mod, admin mod gets that null adminmod_timer error, but every other mod works jsut fine. So I commented out adminmod and let everything else run just the same. I also tried uncommenting adminmod, but commenting out every plugin in admin mod so only the adminmod dll loaded - still got same error:(
