strafe Movement for bots? Possible?
Hello,
due to my very bad internet connection here, i play very often CSDM against bots. After a certain time, there is one thing i dont like: the bots shooting like hell BUT they stop every time when they shoot (with exceptions) and they stay at one place as long as they can kill me, and so that is very easy to kill these bots for me. (like a non-moving target) And now my question: it is possible that these bots can make a step aside (to left or right) while these bots are shooting (like human players after a burst)? In other words: the bots are almost always in motion, especially in CSDM. If not, would be this an idea for a next version? PS: sorry for my bad english :( |
Re: strafe Movement for bots? Possible?
If the bot is not moving, it's an easier target for You, but You have to know - if he is not moving, also for him is more easy to hit You. If the bot is moving and its target is moving, they shoot really bad - so that's why I prefer them to stop while moving (this is also what other players are doing - not only run and shoot - "maybe I'll hit something").

Re: strafe Movement for bots? Possible?
Yes, right, and i must admit that my explanation was a little bit unclear.
I mean: when a bot noticed me, he is not moving any more and shoots several bullets at the same time or single-shot and this in "small intervals". As long till I am dead. Right? And what i want is that the bot changes its position between these shots (or: between these "small intervals") e.g: burst (3-5 bullets) step aside: right (without shooting) burst step aside: left (without shooting) burst and so on. So, he can shooting while he is not moving and when he can not kill me after the first bullets, he change his position for the reasons: a) to have less recoil at the second try and b) for the human player it is harder to kill him between these shot-intervals because of the movement (now the bot is no more a easy "non-moving target" when he dont hit me) |
