2bits' newest map is not a serious one for use with bots but I have thrown together a test waypoint really just to explore adding an extra minor objective.
So the map's original objectives are that the allies have to destroy 2 tanks on 2 parallel moving trains, as well as to blow 1-2 obstacles, build a CP and capture the middle spawn. What I have added is a reason for the allies to get to the engines to vent the steam and slow the train down 20% giving a 2 minute extension. However to get there you have to pass over the axis spawn cars with the result they will respawn a little faster a few times. And the axis can shutoff the steam venting and reduce the time extension to 1 minute. The limitations on scripting won't make these changes perfect so if you look carefully you can see the ground mismatch. I will finish slowing down the other trees in the next waypoint to see if the speed change is really perceptible. Teams should be from 2-8 each and best with no more than 2 bots per team right now. |
