Get this error when I run mEAn with realbot wip2097. Takes about 2-3min. before crash. If I comment mEAn out server runs fine. Any ideas?

Got it running just now with wip2097 (#8.5) but Steam is down and I cannot connect to play. Will let you know if I run into the same problem or not.

*edit*

Restarted my comp and Steam now works. I just played 20 mns of cs_assault with 8 bots, 4 on both teams, no problems.

Make sure you delete all the old experience files - see realbot forum for details under WIP #8.5 thread.

yes, you should experience way less problems with RB and Mean now. THe next release solves another memory related bug, this one is not that super nasty (atleast it does not eat up all your ram ;) ) so i wont release again in haste.

botmeister, experience files where deleted. I will try running on de_dust. Ran on de_riot that produced error. Also will edit out all pluggin.ini files except mEAn and RB. Will post results.:D

Re: mEAn=SZ_GetSpace?

UPDATE: Well Steam did it again. I reversed the server to pre update. Still got
Quote:

SZ_GetSpace: Tried to write to an uninitialized sizebuf_t: ???
. I took mean out of liblist and ran the metamod.dll. Changed autoexec to have mean.dll & realbot_mm. Ran server for 3hr on same map de_riot with no probs. I understand that all the mEAn feature do not work this way but found that trying to tk bots they retaliated like there suppose to. I did not do a meta refresh. If it ain't broke.......:D

Re: mEAn=SZ_GetSpace?

That error refers to an oversized cfg file.

Re: mEAn=SZ_GetSpace?

Verrry interesting. How big can a cfg file be?

Re: mEAn=SZ_GetSpace?

Re: mEAn=SZ_GetSpace?

Try removing all plugins and addons (or whatever you have) so that you start off with a plain old HLDS server - see if that works without erros. Then add on just the bots - see if they work with no errors, then add mEAn. If no errors, then keep readding whatever plugins you were using until the error resurfaces.
