Problem with adding bots
Hey ya'll, I have a problem adding bots. The bot is working fine, but the only way for me to add a bot is via a the amxx mod "amx_podbotmenu" plugin, and then it only works when I use the command "fill server" but I can't "quick add bot" "or custom add bot" or wahtever it's called.. any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
I have amxx 1.80 metamod 1.19p32 and podbot_mm V3b18c with R2b46d.so, didn't work with the default "podbot.so". Thanks for your replies :) |
Re: Problem with adding bots
R2b46d is no longer supported. Try to use this binary, if the default doesn't want to load for You.

Re: Problem with adding bots
I tried using the "podbot 3 beta.so" file but I still got badf load..
But I now figured out how to add bots one by one.. I have to do it from the servers console window, which kinda sucks... but hey, atleast I got it working now. Thanks for your help though! :balloon: edit: Now I got it working pretty well, I use SSH and then via screen I just open the hlds_run window and add bots that way. Works well. |
Re: Problem with adding bots
Could You try to use the beta from this location if it loads for You? I really would like to know what is the problem with loading.

Re: Problem with adding bots
the V3b19 works well, I'm just wondering why alot of the commands don't work anymore, which I used to be able to change from HLDS console, e.g. "pb min_bots" "pb max_bots". Can't remember which version they were working on though... might have been the "R2b46d.so", but I'm not sure...
edit: btw, now I got "amxx_podbotmenu" to work aswell, I had totally ignored the "password commands" that are in the podbot.cfg. So now I don't have any problems, except for that fact that bots will always be bots, lol :) Anyways, keep up the good work.. |
Re: Problem with adding bots
Those commands should work on HLDS console. Just the syntax of some commands has been changed, so some of them might work a bit different way. Read the docs - especially this page.
