Getting E[POD]Bots to join only 1 team on a Dedicated Server
 

Hey,

I'll start by saying I saw the guy would wanted to do this same thing, and Storm told him two things to edit:

"mp_limitteams 0
mp_autoteambalance 0

Add 11 Terrorist bots and kick one, you will get the result that you want."

I, however, am a complete noob and have no idea where to edit these at :)

I'm running a WC3FT server with me and 2 friends, filling the rest of the servers spots (29 remaining open) with bots all on the other team (usually CT).

We're lanning on tuesday (today is thursday where I live) so if someone could help me by then it would be amazing, but any help at all is extremely appreciated :-P

Also:
How do you get the bots to join only one team without them menu? I've been ransacking the .cfg files and cant find anything about having it join only one team... Thanks

I'm afraid that you can't force them via the config. Anyway for the problem this commands
mp_limitteams 0
mp_autoteambalance 0
must be entered in to the server console to take effect and after that keep following the rest of the instructions. :)

Alrighty, that worked really well actually, until we got over 20 bots, then it occasionally crashed... Should I run a second type of bot and do like 10 on one and 15+ on the other?

Well, can't the mp tags be inputed into the listenserver.cfg?
I have gotten two different bots to work together and it was pretty easy to do so.
But I never had any problems with e[POD]Bot by itself.

Well actually it must be good without other type bot but if it still crash you can try other bot, just choose from the forum. :)
