Server Crashing and No Bots on Restart
Every time my server goes to a map that I have added (not in the original install on the server) for CS 1.6 the bots do not show up on the map at all. And when the map switches automatically (map cycle) when it gets to one of these maps, it loads like usual and as soon as the map is about to appear, it kicks everyone out. Any help on this?

Re: Server Crashing and No Bots on Restart
*No bots on restart.
There might not be any "pb add" commands in the podbot.cfg. Also the maps that you added, might not have waypoints. Download the maps waypoints and place them in the wptdefault folder, then restart the map(s) and the bots will start to join again. If you can't find your map waypoints in the filebase, try searching google or cs-maps.org, if you can't find them you can put in a request in the waypointing forum for your map(s) to be waypointed. |
Re: Server Crashing and No Bots on Restart
If You want to report any bug You need to be more detailed. For example You need to say what the version of pb mm You are using, (number - don't say "the latest one") if You are using windows or linux, listenserver or dedicated server, other metamod plugisn etc what exactly th emap is Your proble with etc. You should start from this - write here the output of the console command:

Re: Server Crashing and No Bots on Restart
You were correct about the waypoints, however, some of the maps are custom maps that I made and others are some popular maps that do not have waypoints. Is there a way that I can make my own waypoints instead of submitting 10 maps or do you not recommend trying?

Read this:
http://podbotmm.bots-united.com/doc_..._wp_basic.html http://podbotmm.bots-united.com/doc_...monerrors.html http://podbotmm.bots-united.com/doc_...p_binding.html but first look how some default map have been waypointed to see how it should look like. You can try to ask here to make by someone some waypoints for You, but I don't know if Ancient has time right now to do something for You. |
