Having trouble installing PODBOT/MM..
 

I am having a problem installing podbot. I am trying to install it for Counter Strike 1.6 on a computer running Windows XP.

This is exactly what I did
1. create folder (addons) in directory (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\xxx\counter-strike\cstrike)
2. create folder (metamod) in directory (...cstrike\addons)
3. create folder (podbot) in directory (...cstrike\addons)
4. create folder (dlls) in directory (...cstrike\addons\metamod)
5. extract metmod zip file (metamod-1.19-win) and podbot zip file (podbot_full_V3_B17) to temp folder
6. edit (liblist) file in directory (...cstrike); changed (gamedll "dlls\mp.dll") to (gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll") and saved
7. copy and paste from temp metmod file (metamod.dll) to directroy (...cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls)
8. copy and paste all files in podbot temp file to directory (...cstrike\addons\podbot)
9. open notepad; paste (win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll) in text area; save as (plugins.ini); save as type (all files) in directory (...cstrike\addons\metamod)

When I sart up a game on any original CS 1.6 map (like Office, Italy or Dust2) it acts like I have nothign installed...just me in the middle of the map...no bots.

When I type (meta list) in the console ([meta list) shows up in the console window and nothing else.

I have deleted the addons folder, renamed my old liblist file and reloaded everything 4 times. Same thing happens each time.

I just can't get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to install All-In-One then. The stallation is more easy. Just unzip everything into "cstrike" folder and let overwrite all files.

Thanks alot, man. Worked perfectly. Took like 2 minutes to get everything downloaded and installed. Worked right of the bat. I owe you a drink.

All-In-One 2.8d contains the latest official pb mm (currently V3B17) with mm 1.19 and AMX X 1.76c. But the latest binary build of pb mm You can find in Beta cathegory of pb mm in filebase. It's called beta, but it doesn't crash or doesn't have any really huge errors (I believe), so You can try (after installing the fullpack or All-In-One) replace the binary for the newest one.
I'm just waiting for the feedback if the function the people were asking (turning off radio usage by bots) doesn't do any side-effects nor troubles I couldn't predict. By default bots are using radio commands, so the last change doesn't affect dramatically anything, so I would recommend You will use that latest one (they are even better in short distance - burst fireing mode).

How can i edit the bots settings in that AIO pack?

How can i put more on each team, change names..etc
