libstdc++.so.5
My install keeps looking for this file'/home/*****/hlds_l/cstrike/addons/podbot/podbot_mm_i386.so': libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory . Its a problem with alot of bot programs for cs I think. Can Pod-bot mm, be updated so it will use the newer version of this file. I don't think my host would like to go back to the older version. This is of course on a linux box. Is there another fix for this? It also keeps me from running strumbot or shrikebot on dod servers.
My home servers I test on, is Fedora Core 5. Not sure what my host is using. Or is it looking for the file in the wrong place? Thanks Brett |
Re: libstdc++.so.5
I've had a similar problem before with other applications. This may or may not work for you, but I figured it was worth mentioning.
check /user/local/lib to see if the file exists there if it does, create a symbolic link from where the app is most likely looking for it: ln -s /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.5 /usr/lib/libstdc++so.5 |
