help me, im a nub
 

Ok I read all the threads. I'm not trying to do this for a dedicated server just for something I can mess around with. I installed it in the steam cstrike directory after my email like it said. I changed the .dll but not the linux one because I wasn't sure if I was supposed too. In my config i put bind "=" "podbotmenu" and when I press = it just says unknown command. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh I also tried to bind ivpbotmenu and pbmenu to the "=" key.

Is the bot DLL loaded ? Do you see the welcome message ?

Did you set the liblist.gam file read-only after you modified it ? Steam has the bad habit to overwrite it when it detects changes, thus erasing any previous modification you've made. Setting it read-only will prevent this to happen.

Ok now I have gamedll "ivpbot\ivpbot.dll" this in my liblist and it is read only. But now when i try to create a game there is an error and the game closes.

I have the same problem. Whenever I try to start a new game, there is an error message about the HL launcher and the game closes.

it means there is an error in what you did. The relative path to the ivpbot DLL is incorrect.
Instead of putting "ivpbot/ivpbot.dll", try putting "../ivpbot/ivpbot.dll" and see if it helps.

This is exactly what I have and I still get the message send error report. I copy and pasted it and it doesn't seem to be wrong.
