my problem how to make pass podbpt in a teleportor because the connection between the waypoints is broken thank you

First of all - it's not the bug. You can "cache" the waypoint in one teleporter than - connect it with the other from WP editor menu. But dunno if the bots will work. Teleporter aren't officially suported by any bots - but You can try...

on de_simpson there is a teleporter. just make them jump through and it will work.

If successfully manged to waypoint that de_simpsons teleporter once....just make a manual connection....but this was a while ago...im not sure what changes you guys may have made but it does work.......i noticed also it was difficult for the bots to not get stuck on each other at that spot....the other thing to think about if you want to guide bots through a teleport....is their NEED to take the shortest route....that teleporter weaypoint becomes waypoint number 1 for them in many cases.
ntop even sure if you guys ever fixed the bots getting stuck stuff :) Yer doing great KWo...i remember when you first came here :) |

I remember that post. Look what you have become since that day :) moderated that forum for 5 years...but seemingly, its gone?? I just went there to try to post the progress of my game...and it was not showing up. back on topic: I remembered the trick i think: you will have to make 2 oneway paths through the teleporter. make sure the the one-way connecting extends at least one more waypoint PAST the one at the the other side of the teleporter.....and THAT.....in both directions so you force the bot away from the teleporter ASAP :) also to make sure that the one-way paths going in both direction wil not cause the bots to stick on each other if they both entered opposites sides at the same time. |

I've added something to the code like this: the bots should check if the ladder is used by another bot or not (to prevent stuck bots one climbing up and the other climbing down). What does it have with this teleporter? Well - at the first look - nothing, but if You put that flag for the waypoints at both end of the teleporter, they shouldn't stuck. Unfortunatelly that crap sometimes is not working. Dunno why the people don't write yet any bug report for that - it seems I really miss good beta-testers :D . It's not working if both bots (from opossite sides of the ladder) simultaneously notice the ladder is used by another bot - no one of them wants to pass the ladder then:D
