Stupid Bots With Metamod And Realbot
can anyone help me please, i installed metamod, and realbot and now they;re working but the bots always stayed at their spawn point, so i did what i read in the other forums and thats the part where you got to move aorund the map and so on so they can learn from you, i did that and its alright but, the bots always take the same route, how can i make their paterns random? and sometimes they stay at the same points like the CT in De_dust2 sometimes 2 bots stay behind jumping in the air all the time, is there anyway of resolving this or can i download premade nodes from someone????:(

2. why a poll? 3. depending on realbot version, which maps? does it has waypoints for it? 4. if WIP used, did you let the bots learn? 5. did you read any readme's? 6. There are tons of topics about RB and 'problems', did you check these out before? |

(Joebot + Metamod / AMX ) CS 1.3 on a Linux dedicated server Does anyone know how to solve it? |

Play more rounds, more nodes will be added, bots will choose a wider veriety of routes. Having humans on both teams helps a lot.

Now I have Realbot, same problem. Is it a learning proces? Don't they read the waypoints from the /hlds_l/realbot/data/ini directory? Cause they don't move more then 2 feet. Like this, they won't learn fast :) |

The .ini files are no longer used. The bots now learn from human movements and the results are stored in the rbx/rbn files. Start a game with humans on both teams and the bots will figure out what's going on after a round or two.

so as long as I keep the .so file for metamod, I can delete the realbot directory? |

No, the .so use files from the relabot directory (names, buying table, etc...)
