Help - DS commands won't work on listen server
 

Stephan no idea if I should post in here yet, but I could not help myself :D

I noticed that the dedicated server commands stop working when realbot is run as a listen server. Can this be corrected or is there a reason for it?

btw so far you have the best CS 1.6 bot available imo. I have RB running 24/7 on my bot server and it works great.

Btw, do you actually know what you are asking?

The rbds commands work fine on a dedicated server, but they stop working on a listen server (steam listen server). My question is if you can "fix" it so that the rbds commands continue to work under a listen server. There should normally be no reason to disable them, but perhaps there is a reason in your case.

My bot manager uses the rbds commands to addbots and I would prefer not to have two sets of commands (one for DS and another for LS) if possible.

I've read your progress postings and I'm looking forward to the next version.

aah, i see your point. Yet you know how botmans code works. I probably will redo my realbot commands for the next version. I will probably will use an alias:

rbcm <command>

so in listen servers and in dedicated servers you use:

rbcm addbot

rbcm endround

etc.

As for the progress, yes its getting along nicely, but it still needs a lot of fixes here and there.

Stefan, you should use pfnAddServerCommand() to register a real server command for RealBot, if you haven't done that yet :)

oh? you are talking chinese to me now, pfnAddServerCommand(). Frankly i don't even know what you are talking about yet, as i never used it. I still use Botmans way of handling commands. Since i am rewriting already lots of stuff (my code is now 60% rewritten) i might aswell do that too ;)

ok, i succeeded in installing realbot for the listen server (works great)

but now i want to make a dedicated server with it may it be with the metamod or the old version

...im fucked up...idont understand a thing and i would really appreciate if some1 could help me...thx

more precisely, i mean what are the commands to use realbot in-game?

add 1 bot to counter-terrorists
