Config - not quite doing what I want it too
Hey there :)
I have installed podbot and love it. The thing is it's not quite configured correctly. I would like for there to be 1 bot in the server when nobody else is in there. I would also like there to be 1 bot in the server when 1 other person is in there. I do not want any bots in the server when there is more than 1 person in the server. So always 1 bot in the server unless there are 2 people or more. Is this possible? I have tried having min_bots 0 max_bots 2, and then later down addbot. The thing is there seems to be one bit in the server, and then I join and it goes altogether. Thanks for the help in advance :P |

If there is no sufficient info - just quote me that paragraph You were reading. Hint - read about config parameters... |
Re: Config - not quite doing what I want it too
Hello there.
Yes, I have read that but still can't get it to work. According to my logic min bots must be 0 to get the bots to go when two humans are on, max bots must be 2 so that there is a bot when a human is on, and then at the bottom of the file I have added addbot. This works fine, 1 bot is in the server etc but when I join it goes. If I put addbot twice it works, but then there are two bots on the server when no humans are, and I don't really want that. I want one so that I can see if there is a human playing in the server easily, because number of players will be 2 not 1. Thanks... |
Re: Config - not quite doing what I want it too
It cannot work this way You want, because once You want the minimum bots amount as 1, then You want the minimum amount of bots as 0. You may need to write an AMX X /AMX plugin to work it so (it may change the value of pb_minbots dynamically for You). And don't ask me how to do this - it's not AMX/ AMX X forum. This what You want - if You really have read carefully the docs - cannot be done with this bot specyfication (and I don't think there might be a reason to change it).
