ET map Xposed waypoints are ready!
 

The waypoints for the ET tank map "Xposed" are ready to go.

HIGHLIGHTS:
An attempt by the Allies to take a small French town was driven off by a fierce Axis counterattack with heavy artillery and bombing. A small team of Allies are trapped in the town and the only way out is to repair a broken-down Axis tank and drive through the bombed city. Only a shell of the town remains: buildings without roofs, rubble all around, all of its citizens have fled. Only the church remains unscathed. The Allies will have a difficult time escaping because there is virtually no shelter along the escape route. There's sure to be an aggressive defense by the Axis at the two roadblocks that they have prepared. The second barrier is particularly nasty, blocking the tank at a narrow roadway where there's no room to maneuver. Expect heavy casualties from artillery and air attack on both sides. There's no place to hide. An interesting historical oddity: the walls of this French town are plastered with posters exhorting the citizens to aid the war effort, but the the posters are all American! .

Just wanted to post a big thanks to Bindlestiff for bringing this map alive on Fritzbot. It took an enormous amount of work to get this one correct and it shows in the playing that the effort was there. It plays great and is a real challenge for Allieds to win. If you wanna try it. One other thing that should be mentioned. There is a server side patch for this map named

xposed_sp1.pk3

Make sure this is with the map on the server. It does not need to be available for players to download. Just on the server.

I have incorporated this patch into the waypoints (/maps/xposed.script) which will overrwrite the script that comes with the map, so it doesn't matter if you don't have the separate patch. It only matters if you play the map WITHOUT the waypoints! :big_grin:
