[Request] de_rats_1337 please :D
Hey everyone, i finally got my pod-bot mm working on my HLDS.
All i need now is waypoint for the map de_rats_1337. If anyone can make it, i would be extremely happy :D Off Topic: "Btw, my HLDS wont let me use my pb wpmenu, menu, add and all these other stuff :/ Anyone knows why?" |

about offtopic, it works, use the versions above 3.0beta12 - they have pb menu with acces by pasword

I won't be waypointing this map, the amount of freakishly options is amazing, and I'm not sure all waypoints will connect correctly and bots will mostlikely clump and get stuck together and 1 ways and all waypoints have to connect 2 or more ways and it seems to be a very difficult map to waypoint, if not impossible. I'm not an expert, but I don't really understand how to waypoint this map.
I have to tell you to try get someone else to attempt to waypoint this map for you. |

Well you don't really have to waypoint it to tell that the bots won't be to happy. There is a few ways in and out, but a sniper position the shandelier is the biggest problem as it is only a 1 way, because if you go back you will be sent right back to the shandelier, the other option is crouch and suicide. Spawn points are pretty close, 1 is basicly on a ladder, The door with the button isn't an issue as I read up about it in the documents.
I haven't waypointed it, and it doesn't take much to realise that bot's might not work well with it. Biohazard checks some maps for bot compatibility etc..., I guess if you want to download it and look etc .. you can, but I won't waypoint it. Those are the problem areas that are bugging me. CT Spawn you can see the ladder spawn part. I don't spell very well, so I'm sorry if you can't understand somethings. |

About that light at the top - You are afraid the most - maybe it's not clearly describen in ny docs, but if there is some place You don't wish to go by bots, just... don't waypoint that area so they will no go there... It's like humans do - if they will have the only choice to die (because of falling down), they will not go there. The rest You can see on my pictures. The doors with buttons - here You have the example how to waypoint the door with buttons - example from de_rats (similar map) - no button flag - bot will find the button if he needs, if the waypoint placed in front of the door "can see" the button. About that kitchen-cabinet You were afraid - there is a ladder - they can go...
Now - I think - You can waypoint that map, but I'm pretty sure the map has some problems with spawn points (they are too much close to each other). |
