All-In-One PODbot not working in FreeBSD 6.0

Ok. So I have been searching through these forums for the past 2 days, trying to get PODbot or E[POD]bot to work. No luck. I've downloaded/setup the AIO, and everything works, EXCEPT PODBOT. All I want to do is get my dedicated CS server working with bots =[

I put extracted the AIO into the correct directories (/usr/game/cstrike/cstrike/) and yes, I am well aware of the fact that there are two cstrike directories.

Currently loaded plugins:
description stat pend file vers src load unlod
[ 1] AMX Mod X RUN - amxmodx_mm_i386. v1.75a ini ANY ANY
[ 2] <podbot_mm_i386 badf load podbot_mm_i386.s v - ini - -
[ 3] Fun RUN - fun_amxx_i386.so v1.75 pl1 ANY ANY
[ 4] CStrike RUN - cstrike_amxx_i38 v1.75 pl1 ANY ANY
[ 5] CSX RUN - csx_amxx_i386.so v1.75 pl1 ANY ANY
[ 6] Engine RUN - engine_amxx_i386 v1.75 pl1 ANY ANY
[ 7] FakeMeta RUN - fakemeta_amxx_i3 v1.75 pl1 ANY ANY
7 plugins, 6 running

Is it just me, or does PODbot just hate FreeBSD?

I've tried every version I could get my hands on, and none of them work.

Re: All-In-One PODbot not working in FreeBSD 6.0

*cough* Ahem.. *cough* If you haven't noticed, I said FreeBSD not Linux. Yeha, I know they are close to the same, because I run both a linux machine and a freebsd machine in my home. But the same they are, and are not. Think about that one. :chinese:

All the wikis and faq pages you guys are pointing to talk about setting up and configuring and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers, but I see nowhere about FreeBSD. There is no 'yum' command like there is in Red Hat, and I dispise RH. :glare:

Re: All-In-One PODbot not working in FreeBSD 6.0

use apt-get to get packages, and aptitude to find them (i guess FreeBSD is quite close to Debian)

also notice, i heard many many problems with running HLDS on deban systems

Re: All-In-One PODbot not working in FreeBSD 6.0

Would be nice and really simple, if there were an apt-get. Right?

Code:

illusion# apt-get
apt-get: Command not found.
illusion# whereis apt-get
apt-get:
illusion#

And no, FreeBSD is not like Debian. Or RedHat, or Mandrake, or any other Linux distrobution. It's FreeBSD. 'Nuff said. :P
