New F.E.A.R. Multiplayer game- Bots?
 

Hi! Haven´t been here for a long time :). I just downloaded this new Fear-multiplayer-game for free and I was wondering if there are any bots available for this game? I think there is also a SDK available now.

Do you mean FEAR? I think itself is a Quake 2 bot...

Hi :-), no it´s a free multiplayer-game like Enemy Territory and there is also a SDK out already:

I tried it and its really latest engine technology- you need a good DX9-board and have to configure the graphic-options very carefully ;-). But not bad overall. Several gametypes are available like CTF, DM and a few others. And it´s completely for free.

Theres a coop mod for it, fairly polished from what I hear. If anyones interested I can probably find a link to it.

I'm still waiting for the 1.4 gigs to download, then its LAN coop time.

Hi CoCoNUT and everyone,

First off, thanks CoCoNUT for all the waypoints you've made! I was hoping F.E.A.R. would have bots for multiplayer. But I guess only for single player. What does this F.E.A.R CoOp do?

strelomet was talking about how the AI was, in the Single Player of F.E.A.R.. I've been hoping for multiplayer bots.

Heyyo,

Simple my friend. Ever play SvenCoop for Half Life? indeed, it allows for co-operative gameplay. So in this case, a lot of the singleplayer levels, plus a bunch of user-made maps. ;)

Bots for fear would be pretty sweet actually.

Oh yea, bots would be so sweet for F.E.A.R.. Yup, I've played SvenCoop, I use RCBot for it. It's pretty awesome.:)
