How do i install them on my game?
 

im having trouble big time, i have counter strike 1.6 and i downloaded the yapb program.

can someone please go step by step to show me how to make them work and where to install the program and everything please??

i would really appreciate it

YaPB should have an installer to make it easy to install the program. If your using Valve's Steam, here's where you point YaPB's installer to:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*Your Steam ID*\counter-strike

That's where my Counter-Strike 1: Anthology installs. I also have the 1.0 version of Counter-Strike. It came with the 5 games-in-one. I forget exactly where the game files install without Steam. I've been using Steam for quite sometime.

When playing Counter-Strike, while multiplayer game is running press = to bring up the YaPB menu.

Install it in your cstrike folder, it should overwrite your libist.gam and create an addons folder and a yapb folder in the addons, also metamod should come with it (I think).

Open Metamod folder open plugins.ini make sure yapb is:
win32 addons/yapb/dlls/yapb.dll
//linux addaons/yapb/dlls/yapb.so (I think)

If you are running a windows server your settings should be like this, if not using windows visversa this.

The libist.gam should change the dll to addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll and everything should work fine when running counter-strike.

If you don't have metamod, you can dl it here http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=410534
Extract it to cstrike/addons/metamod/dlls/
Then create a plugins.ini in metamod folder.
This bot is ment for 1.6 and czero. (That's what I know of).

Also you can read the readme.txt in the yapb package ;)

Ancient did a good job, better than me, hehe. :) Krayzie22, what version of YaPB did you download? There was an installer problem with YaPB 2. The problem should be corrected in 2.05. I have three PC's, my newest one was able to install YaPB 2 with no problems. But with my two older PC's, the installer would crash. That's where 2.05 is coming in, to fix the problem. Last, do you happen to have Counter-Strike 1: Anthology?

You can try compiling the so file yourself. It shouldn't be too difficult.

can i do it through ssh or what do i use whats the command?

edit:
ive had only limited expierience with linux machines mostly just setting up cs servers and installing amx and all that its pretty basic once you get the hang of it slap it on and type in some commands.

im cant seem to find anything relevant on google either.

No (well yes), but you need makefile. You can adapt it from hpbbot. I will release source code with makefile after 2.20 release.
