Great Bot

Hey guys congratulations on an awesome bot (in a league of its own)

:)
A few idea's (things i feel could improve the bots)

*The bots jump way to much ! There are verry few good et players who jump at all in smg battles the only ppl who jump that much are css noobs. The one exception maybe players using a rifle, eg noob nader or covert k43/grand. The reason smg players dont jump during battles is the bullet spread penalty is huge. I feel that the bots seem unrealstic while they are kangaroo hopping.

*I would also love to see the bots prone more in smg fights

*Another thing i would love to see is bots sprint straffing and trying to out straff u.

Still those are things i would like to see changed, but saying that im not sure if anyone will agree with me, and still the bots as they stand , are far superior to any other bot ive seen for et .

Thx guys and pls keep up the good work!

quick Q
When will the version supporting hitsounds be realised?

Re: Great Bot

The bots do some strafe jumping in the next release - just added it actually.

Hitsounds are done and will be in next release. I can't say for sure when we'll be done, but hopefully soon. A LOT of bugs/issues/and new features have been worked on lately - its almost a different bot now then the version you're playing ATM. :D

They're jumping/proning depends on their distance to you, and their skill. Very close, high skill bots will jump more then far away bots, or low skill bots. If your in a "sweet spot" dist, they'll prone, but not if your too far or too close.

I like keeping their combat tactics mixed up, so I won't have them prone/jump/strafe too much, or they become predictable. I like having them mix it up. How they mix it up tho is being looked at, and we'll prolly improve a lot of that for the next version too.

Thx for the comments!

Cheers!
