Help with Et installation
 

The help and installation for ET is a little thin or the links to it are, lol.
So I am kinda in the dark here.

First, I may be sounding dumb here but is fritzbot for a windows server only ?

Cos I tried to install the mod on our linux server but the game wouldnt load, heres the log :

Sys_LoadDll(/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so)...
Sys_LoadDll(/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so) failed:
"/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Sys_LoadDll(/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so)...
Sys_LoadDll(/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so) failed:
"/home/server/enemy-territory/fritzbot/qagame.mp.i386.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Sys_LoadDll(qagame) failed dlopen() completely!

The short answer is...nope, *nix is currently not supported. You can read the FAQ here:

thanks hobbit, I had a feeling that was the case.

Let hope a linux master can port this across :)
