Epods work with AMXmodX
 

I currently have AMXmod installed... epods work great (though once in a while they don't load or their name is missing) .. anyways.. will they work with AMXMODX, and if so do I need to re-install, etc...

It will owrk with AMXMODX like with AMXmod. You don't need to reinstall anything just configurate your mods.

would help if you explaned it in more detail i had podbots on amx i added on to the shortcut +gamedll PODbot\podbot.dll but it dont work when i do it for epod example of shortcut D:\Sierra\Steam\steam.exe -applaunch 10 -console -autoupdate +maxplayers 20 +map cs_assault +gamedll EPODbot\EPB.dll
that dident work then i tryed to put it in autoexec.cfg also no go then i added win32 gamedll "EPODbot\EPB.mm_dll" to metamod plugins.ini dident work :cursing: :nono: :glare:

Open your cstrike\addons\metamod\plugins.ini file and add this line in it:
win32 EPODbot\EPB.dll
Save and try again. :)

is what i read in metamod pluins help forum i tryed switching backslash to forward same thing wont add bots

i think i found a way though +localinfo mm_gamedll "EPODbot\EPB.dll" added to launch option's right click properties on shortcut and add it in case anyone asks

How can I use the bot with MetaMod?
You have to install the POD-Bot first and then MetaMod, otherwise it won't be nice. ;-) But you can update your POD-Bot 2.x with EPB after you installed MetaMod without having to reinstall it. Add the param +localinfo mm_gamedll podbot/podbot.dll to your Counter-Strike Shortcut. It will look like this then: C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game cstrike +localinfo mm_gamedll podbot/podbot.dll. You can also use metamod and other plugins, but the bot is not designed to use it with any plugins, so it could be incompatible. The best solution is too use as few plugins/addons as possible.

so maybe i have a plugin thats not compatible with your bot maybe its wc3ft =/ i think ill try podbot and see if i get same prob

Damn are you blind? Do what I type here the page is a bit outdated.
You don't need to use +localinfo mm_gamedll for the current version of EPB. Install EPB, install metamod and amx and the plugins that you want with it. Then Open plugins.ini and add this line
win32 EPODbot\EPB.dll
Thats all work with both slashes \ or /!
And what are you talking about for some kind of updates ?
EPB is standalone bot it don't need by other bots to run.

is it possible to run amxmodx with the [e]podbots? (im talking about like inside a lan server by myself, not lan party)
