All My MANY Problems.
 

Problem 1.

Whenever i try to add a bot manually using the command "epb addbot", The Game Crashes. Help? What am i doing wrong? On alot of maps, It doesnt Auto Fill.

Problem 2


When i try and restart the game, Cause the bots arent moving after i die, It Crashes. I use the command "restartserver" If i'm not mistaken.

Problem 3


I cant set the skill level of the bots down. Yes, I've tried using the Config. But nothing works. I cant really take level 100 bots.

Problem 4

Knife Mode doesnt work. All i know how to do is the Config...

Problem 5


When i do the command that is automatically put in, I think its "epb bind = podbotmenu" That may not be right, But along those lines. Nothing Happens.

Slight Problem.

I cant find any waypoints for de_westwood.

What server are you running. Dedicated?
To make the skill down turn off the option ultraskillmode in to the config file.
The command for the menu is
epb_botmenu (maybe will be changed later).
What version of EPB you use?

1. I'm running a server straight out of CS. Just the "New Server" Button in the game.

i have some experience with these problems so her is some of my help

Problem 1.
U need to type epb_add_ct for ct bot and u can add the skill like epb_add_ct 100. the same goes for terrorist its jsut epb_add_t not epb_add_ct. good luck

Problem 2.
u can restart the server with the bot menu

Problem 3.
like i said, u can change the levels when u manually add them :-). u can also type this in console epb_ultraskill off . that should take off the HARD bots.

Problem 4.
Knife mode has never worked. I had the same problem and THE_STORM hasnt worked on it at all. Just think of it as a target practice >_0

Problem 5.
the botmenu buton binding.... go to console and type bind = epb_botmenu or bind p epb_botmenu... that should solve that problem and use the menu for ur restart server problem in problem 2.

Slight Problem.
I know nothing about waypoints but i do know that they describe the places where the bots spawn and the goal points but i dont know de_westwood either so if it is a downloaded map then u wont be able to put waypoints in it... cause i tried to do that for scoutzknives...

Heyyo,

Yeah, the config program doesn't work. You have to actually change the values in the epb.cfg file. Min and max skill are there, set them from 1-100. Higher the number, the higher the skill obviously.

Then yes, turn off ultraskill.

And yeah, Storm, might wanna make sure that the epb addbot, stuff left over from the dedicated server stuff doesn't work cause obviously some are still used to it. :P
