three problems with these bots....
 

ok well i have three problems...

1. I start my own server and choose dust2. Then I go to "add specific bot" and then it says to chooose level. I choose 100 and then it says to choose team. I choose CT (and does the same for terrorist) and it says to choose a model. Then at that point, I can't choose a model, the screen freezes, and i go to desktop. The same thing everytime. I also try "epb_addbot 100 counter-terrorist" in console but then some join terrorist. I can figure out this problem. Please help. Thanks.
2. This is a different problem. I can play with these bots for fun. But when I put it on Jason Mode they don't fight each other. They just run around. They don't attack me either. So i just go an knife them. They aren't stupid cause they are all 100s. I have no i dead why they won't attack. But when i give them guns they shoot. Please help its very frustrating but good target practice. >_<
3. Okay here's the last problem. I've read through the forums and have found this question but I haven't found any answer for it. Here is the problem. I create server with bots blah blah blah.. right? Then in about 10 minutes, counter-strike exits and i go to desktop. Other times I can play for an hour and it goes to desktop. Thanks THE_STORM for helping me with my problems >_0

Resolutions:

1. Its known bug in version 5.1 to crash after you add specific bot. The beta tester haven't suspected that. :P To add specific bot without crash type
epb_add_ct - for CT bot
and
epb_add_t - for T bot
2. There is still no fix for the jason mode. I haven't worked on it ever.
3. This problem have been report by some other CS players too. But I have played more than 3 hours and there is no crash so how I can fix something that is not crash for me..?

Prob. 1.
the bots still join th team they want to when i type epb_addbot ct in console. is there a way to make it not on auto team balance? because i want to play about 7 vs me. so im looking through the .cfg file and i saw nothing of that sort. please reply for that one. ;-)

Prob. 2.
So i have found something for jason mode if it helps u help me. if i start off and they buy guns and all that, then i change it to jason mode during the round, they pull out their knives and the attack me then. but next round they have their knives out but they run away. and sometimes when they run at me they just bump into me and run away.

Prob. 3.
well since this problem did happen for you(the crashing after 10min - 2hours) can u tell me the steps u took to install the bots? i mean i have no idea why its crashing =(.... btw thanks for your help so far :-)

i have found the jason mode problem. i dont kow if it works yet but i was scanning through the .cfg file and i found it... heres the text

# This can be used to toggle Jason Mode (Knife-Only)!
#epb_jasonmode on
# You have to remove the comment (#) to use this.

and heres the text that should read to turn it on(or so i think)

The command to add specific bot is not epb_addbot ct or t. It is
epb_add_ct - For CT bots
epb_add_t - For T bots.
As I say the jason mode is not fixed.
I use EPB as metamod plugin with the latest version of metamod - 1.18 and no crash.
Please next time use the edit button.

yeah the add specific bot in console works thanks

i have learned not to use jason mode and i can deal with the crashing everynow and then... well thanks THE_STORM... I <3 you lol j/k
